WHO BUILDS THIS
ReliCheck is a small, independent company that makes research software for the Mac. The team who builds it has spent 30 years running the same kinds of studies you run: surveys, interviews, mixed methods projects with deadlines attached.
That changes what gets built. Every feature ships because it survived a real study first. Nothing goes in because a roadmap said so.
A NOTE FROM THE TEAM
Research is more than collecting data. Research is about finding answers. Every study begins with a question that matters to someone, and everything else in the work, the instrument, the sample, the analysis, exists to answer it.
That belief is why ReliCheck exists. Researchers should not have to struggle with their tools to reach an answer. Knowing your way around a research or statistics package is not what makes someone a researcher. Articulating the problem you are trying to solve is. So we build software that carries the rest: from data to a defensible answer in fewer steps, with nothing to fight along the way. Software that lets researchers be researchers.
We chose the Mac on purpose. Analysis and transcription run on the machine itself, so a recorded interview or a student dataset stays in the room where the work happens. Apple silicon runs the math fast enough that a large dataset is no longer a scheduling decision. And each release of macOS gives us more to build with, on-device speech, on-device intelligence, so the tools keep getting better at the same job: keep the work private, keep it fast, keep it on your desk.
One more belief sits underneath all of this. You do this work because something matters. To make systems that work better. To remove barriers so that people can navigate the world as they were meant to be. And to create opportunities, so that others can reach their potential. Our job is to get you to those answers with less struggle, because the answers are the point.
