ReliCheck · Research Software Ecosystem

Statistics, interviews, and mixed methods.
On your Mac, your iPad, and on the Web.

Software for the whole study, not one step of it. Write the instrument, collect the responses, analyze both the numbers and the words, and report what the evidence can actually support.

Most research tools hand you one step and wish you luck.

A survey platform that cannot tell you whether the instrument was any good. A stats package that has never seen the interviews. A qualitative tool that treats the numbers as someone else's problem. The gaps between them are where studies quietly lose their credibility, and where you lose your weekends.

How ReliCheck works

One study, start to finish.

Each stage hands the next one something it can use, so nothing gets retyped, re-coded, or lost in an export.

01
Ask it well
Purpose alignment, item clarity, construct fit, response burden, bias risk. Checked before anyone answers, when it is still cheap to fix.
02
Collect it anywhere
In the browser, in a classroom, in a clinic hallway. Field ratings carry the explanation behind them and open on your Mac.
03
Analyze both strands
Reliability, group comparison, predictors, and trends alongside coding, themes, quotes, and an audit trail. Same study, same place.
04
Say what it supports
Joint displays, APA 7 tables, limitations, and evidence strength on every claim. A report your committee or your board can follow.

What we believe

Why it works this way.

Your data stays on your machine.
Recordings, transcripts, and responses stay on the Mac that holds them. Transcription runs on-device. The consent form gets simpler when the recording never leaves the room, and IRB-covered work stops being a negotiation with a vendor.
Serious analysis belongs on the Mac.
For years that meant a Windows-first package or a server you had to log into. Apple silicon made the Mac a genuinely fast numerical machine. Every ReliCheck app is built for it natively, with no translation layer and no compromise.
Evidence, stated with restraint.
Reliability is evidence, not proof. Counts describe, they do not conclude. ReliCheck frames every result by what it can and cannot support, and keeps context, setting, and participant meaning attached to the numbers.

Your work is everywhere at once.

A pilot in a classroom on Tuesday, coding transcripts on a plane Thursday, presenting to the board on Monday. The study travels with you across Mac, iPad, and the browser, and picks up where it was left.

The research isn't about the data. It never was.

Every dataset started as a question someone couldn't stop asking. A gap in understanding, an injustice that needed evidence, a human experience that deserved to be taken seriously. We build tools for that moment. The tools serve the question. Always.

Faculty research
The study you actually wanted to run.
Design the instrument, defend the reliability, and keep the interviews in the analysis rather than in an appendix.

Chapter 4, without the panic.
Run the analysis, read what it means in plain language, and walk into the defense knowing which claims the data will hold.

Evidence a board will act on.
Collect in the field, join the numbers to what people said, and hand over a report that states its own limits.
