THE MANIFESTO
Somewhere along the way, research software became part of the workload. There was a language to learn before the first question, output to decode after the last one, and a study split across two tools that never quite meet. The standing advice was to accept this: serious analysis is supposed to be difficult to operate.
We refuse that trade. Rigor lives in the mathematics, the design of the study, and the honesty of the reporting. It does not live in the difficulty of the software. A tool can hold statistician-grade standards underneath and still speak the researcher's language on screen.
So that is what we build. Quanta for the numbers. Quala for the words. MM Studio for the place where they meet. Native to the Mac, local by default, and built so the effort goes into the study instead of the software.

The engine carries the complexity.
The hard math runs underneath, validated against NIST reference datasets with the record published. The screen speaks your working language: plain assumption checks, APA tables, results you can act on.

Speed is part of thinking.
Native Swift on Apple Silicon, so the analysis keeps pace with the question. A large dataset should be an afternoon's work, not a scheduling decision.

Local first, private always.
Analysis and transcription run on your Mac. Interviews, student records, and patient responses stay in the room. The network confirms your subscription, nothing else.

One study, no silos.
The numbers and the words belong to the same study. Quanta, Quala, and MM Studio hand work to each other, so the join between them survives to the final report.
Principles are cheap until they ship. The apps are where we keep these.
