Common questions

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

If you subscribed through the Mac App Store, open System Settings, click your Apple Account, then Media & Purchases, then Subscriptions. You can change plans or cancel there at any time.

How do I restore a purchase on a new Mac?

Click Restore Purchases on the welcome screen. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account you used to subscribe.

Does Pilot Study work offline?

Design, checks, analysis, and reports all run locally on your Mac. A network connection is used only when you run a hosted pilot link and to confirm your subscription.

How is pilot response data handled?

Hosted pilot responses travel over the network while your run is live and are removed when you close the run. We do not store respondent IP addresses or browser fingerprints. See the privacy policy for details.

What can I export?

Word reports and CSV data files. Your study file stays on your Mac.

What are the system requirements?

A Mac with Apple Silicon running macOS 14 or later.
